        ONWARD Driver Training offer a wide range of training services to both corporate and private clients. We cover the whole spectrum of driver training, although we are not involved with training novice drivers (Learners) or Motorcyclists.

        Our services range from Corporate Road Risk Management, Driver Training and Assessment (both on and off road) to support with technical and legal questions. Checking our website regularly will keep you up to date with current legal matters affecting drivers in the workplace.  If you have any queries on current road law or practice - just ask! 

        For companies, our driver training and assessment services ensure compliance with the Road Traffic Acts, Health and Safety at Work Regulations, PUWER Regulations 1998, and the new Corporate Manslaughter Bill. Our systems enable employers to keep up-to-the-minute auditory control of the standards and records of both drivers and the vehicle fleet. We can also advise on the duty of care requirements for Voluntary Organisations and others who use volunteer drivers.

                         

      Good drivers can really benefit a company through reduced collisions, less wear and tear, lower fuel costs and, importantly, promoting a good image. Drivers well trained at work are far less likely to have a collision in their private motoring, vastly reducing the likelihood of them being unavailable for duty.

        We provide dedicated specialist training for those who have to drive off-tarmac as part of their work, as well as Urgent Duty Response training for drivers of blue-light and green-light vehicles, including Emergency Doctors, Ambulance Staff and Fire Service Personnel. Our services are available both in the UK and anywhere in the world. 

         We are also happy to help private individuals: we can offer a wide range of assistance, from providing parking and reversing refreshers, to trailer instruction on anything from a box trailer to a horse box, caravan or boat. Many drivers come to us when changing from a manual to an automatic car. We specialise in assisting nervous or elderly drivers who have lost confidence or are just out of practice, especially on Dual Carriageways and Motorways. We are Pass Plus registered, and happy to provide any information and training relating to the Pass Plus scheme.
